    You know what would make for an interesting blog post? Tracking down the manufacturer of our office carpets and getting the story behind how they came up with this particular pattern.

    “It’s looking good, but can we maybe add some oatmeal-colored vertical stripes and some raw-umber polka dots?”

    “Oh, my, that’s breathtaking.”

    too cute!!

    tim, ha! i’d like this carpet for me
    house. then i wouldnt have to try and clean
    it as much as i do. that pattern will
    hide *anything*.

    Tim, I like to think of our funky geometric carpeting as circa 1960’s chic. Rumor has it was bought on closeout after the 1964 NY World’s Fair…from the George Jetson collection.
